A regular reset. A surprise reset. A credit.
A scheduled allowance reset follows your account’s usage rules. Your usage screen is the best place to find the time that applies to you. A weekly window and a shorter session window can reset separately.
A surprise reset is an extra refresh announced by the provider. It can apply to a whole service, particular plans, or another eligible group. An announcement does not prove that every account has already received it.
A banked reset credit is a reset you may need to redeem. Read the provider’s eligibility and expiry conditions. Receiving a credit does not necessarily mean your allowance has already refreshed.
Can you predict the next Codex reset?
NextReset now publishes an experimental reset prediction using historical waiting times, Tibo’s public reset signals and relevant service recoveries. The homepage shows 24, 48 and 72-hour probabilities, source checks and the difference between a promise and a completed reset. Product launches and promotional decisions can change the pattern, and the signal weights have not been statistically calibrated.

What about Claude?
Claude’s Pro guidance describes session limits that reset every five hours, and possible additional limits including weekly limits. Usage varies with the work you do. Use the official usage indicator for your own reset time; a scheduled refresh is different from a temporary promotion.

Grok limits depend on the product and plan. Check the current official FAQ and your account before entering a reset time. Our archive does not currently track Grok surprise resets.
Our source policy
NextReset is an independent, manually curated reference. Each archive entry links to the original public announcement. We write a short summary, distinguish automatic resets from credits, and display announcement times in Pacific Time.
Our archive contains 50 selected announcements from September 17, 2025 through September 8, 2026, reviewed September 10. The initial eight entries were checked against original posts. We expanded the catalogue using Codex Resets’ public API; the remaining 42 source-linked entries have not all been independently verified. Two replies without sufficient context were excluded. We corrected two credit classifications and marked two combined reset-and-credit announcements separately. The September 8 timestamp is the original post’s publication time, rather than the API’s earlier observation time. This is not a complete history or a live account monitor. We cannot see your usage, confirm your eligibility, or redeem a reset for you.
Provider terms can change. When a summary and the original announcement differ, follow the original source and your account’s current information.
